 reports, 1d 8h agoDaily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it. Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you  the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. The subject is in a stark contrast of the philosophy that older people should forget the physical boundaries of age and live it up; the betrayal of this is shown by the sign "ONE DAY I WILL BE OLD AND GREY". The deeper meaning of this could be taken by the way of the younger generation craving respect that their elders would get - though I think this is a little optimistic of an idea for a simple shot. However, who am I to brand?
Next the inherently young person has decided to sit down on a wet park bench; you would not usually find a younger person doing this though it is possible to find an older person doing this as the physical barriers are being pushed.
In general I am taken aback by the shot as it is really an old vs. young, but instead of an older person doing what would be considered a young persons activity; the young person is filling a stereotype for the older person.
I do however, fail to mention any link between what I feel the subject is and the location; though I feel that the subject is much more important in this case.
